MADARA Cosmetics is the pride of Latvia - a domestic company that is rapidly conquering the European market. The cosmetics comply with the high standards of “Ecocert” – made from natural ingredients that are not harmful to the environment or people. Most importantly, the efficiency of this skincare has been scientifically proven.
Since 2014, Professor Kisis and our clinic’s Doctor Zavorins have conducted multiple clinical studies of MADARA Cosmetics, evaluating the effects of the skincare products on skin redness, moisture or hydration levels, as well as the bleaching properties of select products on pronounced facial skin pigmentation. In conclusion, the clinical studies have scientifically proven the moisturising properties of the popular MADARA “SOS” skincare line products.
All studies were carried out with the approval of Committee of Ethics of Riga Stradins University. The effect of the cosmetics on skin was evaluated both visually and instrumentally. The clinic has access to devices from internationally recognised manufacturers - “Canfield” (USA), “Courage & Khazaka” (Germany) and “Cortex” (Denmark). The visual evaluation of skin condition was carried out by experienced doctors dermatologists, following scientifically validated measurement scales and criteria. Special thanks to Biophotonics Laboratory of University of Latvia for offering apparatus developed by them for measuring skin moisture and skin redness levels.
The results of the study were presented in European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) congresses, Scientific conference of Riga Stradins University, as well as multiple publications.
